Iridescence is the fourth studio album by American collective Brockhampton, released on September 21, 2018 by Question Everything, Inc. and RCA Records, as their major-label debut and the first installment of their The Best Years of Our Lives trilogy. The self-produced album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, as well as the group's own studio in Hawaii. It is their first album since rapper Ameer Vann's departure from the group following sexual misconduct allegations. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming the group's first chart-topping album.
Iridescence is an enjoyable mix of the heartache from saturation 1, the alternative and abstract production of saturation 3 and the heavy use of autotune from the saturation trilogy as a whole. These elements have come together to create an interesting and very enjoyable album. The main question being asked is if it is as good as the previously trilogy which I believe is a bit harsh of a comparison as each saturation album had its own unique theme and sound. However, I do feel that there was a large lack of structure with the album which may have lead me to enjoying this project a little less than the previous albums.

You Won't Get What You Want is the fourth studio album by American rock band Daughters. It was released on October 26, 2018, through Ipecac Recordings.
"You Won't Get What You Want" is one of the most terrifying yet intriguing things I've ever heard. If I were to paint an image of myself listening to this loud rock experimental project it would have me and my ears in complete pain while another figure that is myself enjoys a bag of popcorn and watches. Tis project made you feel so scared to find out what was going to happen in the next seconds of a song but yet so intrigued like as if you were peeping through your hands during a horror movie. There are a few songs that I would not listen to on this album regularly because at some point the popcorn runs out and Its just becomes loud and nothing more. Overall a fantastic yet beyond horrifying album

Lush is the debut studio album by American indie rock musician Snail Mail, released on June 8, 2018 through Matador Records. The album was produced by Jake Aron.
The debut studio album from Snail Mail had was filled with pretty indie rock that detailed complex inner battles and lingering emotions. The song writing depicts the angst of feeling like you’re the only person who’s truly alive in a dulled world. However, this extremely teenage view is whined about but more questioned. There's something Jordan (lead singer) is trying to convey but has a fair way to go to get her ideas out although showing a promising future. The album mixes these interesting ideas with fairly average slow and mid-tempo guitar performances making for an underwhelming amount of songs that will immediately catch your attention.

Ballads 1 (stylized in all caps) is the debut studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter George Miller, under the moniker Joji. It was released on 26 October 2018 through 88rising Records and 12Tone Music. The album debuted at number three on the US Billboard
The 2018 release of the album Ballads 1 had me eager to hear what Joji had to offer ever since he released two tracks off the album titled "dancing in the dark" and "cant get over you". The tracks showcased Joji experimenting with his voice and new directions for production. However, it seems it were just these 2 songs on the full-length album that added any variety to the album. The other 8 songs consisted of recycled mellow production and lyrics that felt made me feel so disappointed considering how much I was anticipating this project.
